I'm trying to have the phones in one office to access the paging trunk and only those phones.

Is there anything in the trunk data block that I can change so that only phones with NCOS 12 can access this trunk. Or do I have to change something in the phone's data block.

You may have to use TARG/TGAR barring. I guess that you are planning to use the ACOD of 71. If your extensions have the default TGAR of 1 set and your Paging route TARG = 1, then they won't be able to dial the ACOD.

Change the Paging route to use a different ACOD. You might have to change some extensions TARG's to prevent them from accessing the route.

NCOS would work, if the ACOD was changed and that "71" was made a CDP entry.

Firebirdscrambler...thanks for your reply.

How would I go about doing a CDP...what would be the best way to do this.....CDP with type LSC, DSC or TSC.

95% or more of my phones have TGAR 0

What would happen if I change the Paging route TARG = 0 and also change the ACOD number to 77.

Right now the phones that need access to this paging trunk have TGAR 0.

You will have to use TARG /TGAR barring if you only want certain extensions to access the paging route.

TGAR on the phones are set O right now....tried to change the TARG in RDB to 0 but if would not change. Should I start from scratch out RDB 51 and rebuild it with TARG 0....then chnage the TGAR on the phones that need access to 1.

TGAR is changed on a per set basis. You can script the change if you get a little creative.
