Paging through phones 1

We are trying to setup paging through the phones using Cisco Unified CallManager Administration version 5.1.2.3000-2.

Currently we cannot get more than one phone to auto answer at a time. Is it possible to accomplish this? If so, which settings need to be applied

As a workaround, we were trying to do it using a shared line appearance on the phones and to have it auto answer when we called that number. Does anyone know if there is a way to get it tow work that way?
 
you cant have a shared appearance auto answer on 2 phones.

at one site we were using Litescape oncast directory to facilitate this requirement. but its pricey.
 
You can also use BerBee or IPCelerate. IPCelerate has a ton of other features as well.
 
You can send a multicast stream (RTPMx) to the phones themselves. You can do this through an .asp script. The cisco development kit has most of the application (actually an .asp script) which will allow you to intercom phones.
 
Does anyone know if paging through phones is available with CCM (now UCM...) 6.0? If not, does anyone have more info on the .asp script process to send a multicast stream?
 
Paging is NOT supported in UCM 6.0. But Intercom is.
 
I use the Cisco IP Services intercom.....I create a page and exit asp file allowing a user (intercom) to control. The only problem is it pages to the IP. Supposedly you can use the MAC with a getdeviceip.asp file, but I've been unsucessful in getting that to work. Anyone else tried/got the getdevice to work?
