Paging on the Mitel 3300

Hi All,

Right now all of our pages have this echoy effect whenever someone makes a page in the office. We think the reason is that that person's speaker phone is broadcasting the page as the person is making it. So there's a bit of feedback. Is there a way to program the system so that when someone makes a page the speaker on that particular phone is disabled?

I'm guessing this is a Class of Service thing but I cannnot seem to find it. Thanks in advance.

I would highly recommend users actually picking up the handset to conduct their page.

I get this "trouble" frequently with users complaining that the greeting on their Voice Mail sounds horrible. I has always been because of using the speakerphone.

peakerphone voice quality is nowhere near the handset's quality.
