So the current config is a universal trunk in the CS1000 to a standard 600ohm input. Not sure of the amp brand, but it is an audio amp, ie. Yamaha. Signal is then sent, amplified to speakers. Trying to get an FXO port to work with the same downstream set up. I can dial the route pattern, FXO goes offhook, and then disconnects. The FXO is looking for voltage I assume which won't be provided by the amp so the connection is dropped. Has anyone successfully tuned an FXO port to work without applied voltage? I looked through the voice-port settings but nothing seems appropriate.

You dont have any type of controller in between? IE: Bogen, or Valcom?

No we do not. But I will today if I can't make this work.

I have never had any success getting paging to work without one.

An FXO port will not work if you need a 600ohm output. You can do it with an E&M port however. If you don't have that then you can put a device like a bogen tam-b between the fxo port and the amp.

I'm ordering a Valcom 2000A. Thanks everyone.
