Hello, I am trying to add a new paging loudspeaker configuration in the AVAYA equipment, but I am receiving the next error when I try to load the configuration:

"Cannot enable dial access, same first digit used for extensions", do you know what is happen?

Best regards.

you have to use a dial code that is not used by something else, check your dial plan for an entry with DAC or MISC

I used the range 86 with 3 digits as a dac, please let me know your comments

Depending on your software version, maybe you have a second digit table...?

Thanks,

I will try to change the dial plan to aviod the problem, because I dont have a second digit table, do you know the command to verify the second digit table ....?

Please let me know if there is a way to trace this or where can get a pdf with all the errors in the pbx and see the different root cause of this pbx answer.

It would've been change second-digit x...

But this is on older software loads.

Thanks,
CJH

No this command is not in my system, I have a G3Rv11, so I really dont know yet what could be causing this pbx's answer, so the next step is to change the dial plan, but this will take more time because I am using extensions in all the ranges assigned in the dial plan.

Best regards.

Your existing paging system is using 860. You also have an entry of 861 for Code Call. What code are you trying to assign?
