Paging issue.

I am having an issue with my pagingig system.
I have 2 Furman Paging units, 1 in each building. The PBX is an Avaya epn off an Avaya G3R which ties into the system with a Lucent Pagepac.

I have 2 buildings 4 floors each with a single zone. The Furman PS8R Power Unit and TOA 724 Amplifier.

Both buildings presently have a hissing noise coming through the speakers when not paging.

Any Ideas or anyone ever run into this?

Sounds like you have some type of backfeed going on. Have you tried disconnecting one of the bldgs and seeing if it cleared the problem???
