Paging Groups over SCN

We have a SCN setup and working interoffice dialing. The setup is as follows:

Site A:
406V2 Software 3.1.65
Extensions in the 100 range and the Hunt and Paging Groups are in the 200 range. Paging in particular is on 201.

Site B:
IP Office SOE
Extensions are in the 300 range and the Hunt and Paging Groups are in the 400 range. Paging in particular is on 401.

We can interoffice dial between extension. (ie... 300 to 100 and vice versa)

I can call the hunt groups between locations. (ie... 300 to 200)

If I put a button for "page group 201" on a phone in Site B, the paging works fine.

If I build a short code of 201 with a number of 201 and set as a "dialpage" we get disconnect and busy. If I change "dialpage" to just "dial" it will call the hunt group in Site A (201) but not actually page.

We need that type functionality when someone uses a 5602 and we can't add page buttons.

Anyone have any suggestions? Also, is there a workaround to page phones at Site A and Site B at the same time. Something like an "all page" scenario?

Thanks in advance.

Create a shortcode on Switch B(such as **201) Feature DialPage 201. So, if you were on Switch B you could dial **201 and it would page.

On Switch A, create your 201 shortcode, Feature DIAL, **201. This will pass the digits to the system shortcode on Switch B, which will be responsible for activating the page. In other words, the Switch doing the paging has to be the one activating the PAGE feature.

Hope this helps...

Kris
