I have a new computer that doesn't want to install a permanent paging file. I can go to the system icon and type in the paging file as recommended, but it still has "0" as the paging file. When I turn on the computer, it sets up a temporary paging file but when I look at the actual file it reads "0". My ram is 512 so my paging file should be 768. I also reade that I could use the number 1024. I have tried both. Can someone help! I think that because I have a hard time with the paging file, the boot up at start is very slow and sometimes I have to Control, Alt Delete to get it started.
