Paging by speaker call

Hello everybody
I have two questions, please help me.
In OS4K V10, how can I page my colleague or have a speaker call through a button or code? For example, I defined the code *80 as speaker call in web. But when I go to the page, it gives an alarm that you do not have permission.

In SDAT you have to add VC and in the destination phones you have to Stop VCR Reject ( Stop the automatic reject of voice calling) - this could be done through the phone menu if you prefer.

You could also try the buzz feature but not sure if that works the same.

Also available is COM Group Speaker Call - One Way or Two Way - using a comgrp in Wabe

When I tack **6 i could not page the 2135 station user. it's not posdible

This is V10. SDAT VCR voice call reject no longer exists.

You can use the old feature Voice Calling, put VC in originators SDAT and dial the VOICECAL wabe code, then the destination extn number.
Or, use the replacement feature Speaker Call, put SPKRCALL in originators SDAT and dial the SPKRCALL wabe code, then the destination extn number.

Results in either case should be the destination will then broadcast from its speaker.

That's strange - It's still there on V10's that I can access in the AMO ACTDA not in SDAT.
In SDAT you allow the phone to use Voice Calling (VC)
In ACTDA you stop it or allow it to come out over the speaker (VCR)
If you stop it in ACTDA then it just rings the phone.

Sorry, senior moment. I was checking sdat not actda.
So with VCR ADDed in ACTDA, the destination extn rings with both VOICECAL and SPKRCALL.
With it DELeted - the destination rings but does not go off hook (ie call is signalled)

Ha Ha - senior monment - I live in those moments !
Yes, the destination rings - but when you DEL the VCR then it 'bips' and comes out over the speaker.
I think I was able to adjust the duration of and duration between those 'bips' in the past
but I forget the timer now.
