Paging busy tone

I have three Nortel branch offices. If some one makes a page to the PA system and hangs up there is a 10 second delay before the user can do another page. They will get a busy tone.

This happens at 2 of the 3 sites. Configs look all the same across.

Any ideas where to start looking?

What is odd about that is that the paging trunk is the ORIG TN.
I think you need to go back to what KCFLHRC suggests and compare the trunk routes and TNs with the ones that work.
Maybe post the printouts here.

Your "Trunk with issue" and "Good Trunk" screen caps are both of the same TN.

And Answer and Disconnect Supervision required is unchecked.
 
All branch sites have that same tn for the paging trunks. Been that way since day one as far as I know. Was setup by our TelCo. Could that be the issue?

Top two are ones that have issues and bottom one is the one that works. All have the same TN's.
 
Can you not print out the routes and trunks from the command line? The GUI doesn't really tell us anything.

Unfortunately no. That is one of the sites that doesn't work.
 
Your test calls are being made via tie lines so the incoming trunk routes at the far end are also a factor.
You need to compare those as well.
 
Have you tried swapping over the paging equipment?. The original report was that there was a delay of 10 seconds before it could be used again as busy tone is given whilst it's engaged.

It might not have anything to do with the CS1000 system as the paging equipment might have a problem or a delay timer set.
