pager message notification with mermail

hi guys we have a option 61 with mermail version 12


is there a way for a user who is on the road to get is message notification by his pager ...i've done it on a nortsar before

Yes, you have remote notification available.

read it was option 80 then 2 in my mailbox but i do not get those options when i dial my mailbox do i need to have a special mailbox or a setting in mermail admin to get that right

You have to set it/enabled for the mailbox at the MerMail terminal first. There are a variety of restrictions that may need to be 'lifted' for it to work as well. Some are risky and need continued monitoring to insure additional holes don't open up.
