Pagemaker type expands to large size, fills screen

The type size in certain pagemaker files increase to such a point size that it appears as a black blob and fills the screen. This happens with no warning or error messages and only when viewed at certain resolutions. Stumped .

Could it be a video card driver problem? Check to make sure you have the latest version of your video driver. I've never seen this happen, but we do have a similar wierd font situation. I call it Pagemaker is Tired, and we usually just restart PM. The fonts either all turn into Aachen (first on our font list) or the letters look like someone picked up the story and dropped it from the top of the Empire State Building. Happens once every couple of days on either one of our machines.

Thanks for the reply, all drivers are current. The same problem is happening in two different PM files on two different machines with two different vidoe boards and drivers

when the file is corrupt. --Gernot.
