Hi,
I have report that contains 5 (completely) different reports.

Each subreport is located in one of the headers of the report Header-a, Header-b, Header-c etc and contains between 1 - 30 pages depending upon what is being reported

I would like to place a page number at the bottom of each page or Page N of M, but I only get it on the last page...

Is it possible to calculate each number of pages and have each report start with the subsequent number so that it appears as one large report...

Example:
Sub report1: 1 page, starts at page 1 ends at page 1
Sub report2: 5 pages, starts at page 2 ends at page 7
Sub report3: 21 pages, starts at page 8 ends at page 29
Sub report4 15 pages, starts at page 30 ends at page 45
Sub report5 2 pages, starts at page 46 ends at page 47

is there any way of doing this? Appreciate any help on this!

I have the same situation you have but instead of placing the subreports in the report headers, I placed them in the detail sections a through Detail section ap. This allows me to control the page breaks between subreports. The following layout works great with my page M of N

Report Header - I placed my cover letter here
Page Header - Generic Title with rundate and page m of n
Detail Section a - inserted subreport01
....
Detail Section a - inserted subreport42
Report Footer - Suppressed
Page Footer - filename, path and author

Many of my subreports have fake page headers so I can create subtitles and column headings for each subreport

Cheers,

Hey Witchitakid
I moved the sub reports to the detail section of the main report as you suggested and refreshed. It now is generating 3,429 sub reports to display... Am I mising anything?

What are you doing in the main report? Basically, it's running a subreport for every detail record that it is finding.

In mine, my main report consist of just one simple table like a code table that never changes and where I can easily select just one record. For example, a state code table ({state.code} = "KS")

Now I can create multiple detail sections and it will just be processed once.

Hope that helps
