I have a report that is made up of several subreports (a dental provider listing by alpha, by location, and by specialty). Each subreport is several pages long. I'd like page numbering throughout the report, but can't seem to get it on the subreports.

Any ideas?

Page numbers should display for the subreport as long as the Main report page footer is displayed and the page number is in there.

You can also create a shared variable to use for the page numbering if need be, but you'll have to manually increment it.

Where are you currently showing the page numbers?

I have page number on the Page Footer section of the main report.

Interestingly, the page numbers appear on the last subreport which is in a Report Footer section, but not the first, which is in a Report Header section.

Don't know if it is relevant, but I am using a formula for PageNumber (PageNumber - 2), since I have two 'title' pages.

Try adding something else in to the page footer, such as some text, does it display?

Don't know what to tell you, it works here in the report header even with a pagenumber-2.

Is the page footer in the main conditionally suppressed? It sounds like it...

Yes, it was conditionally suppressed. Rather than research further, I've just put all subreports in Report Footer sections, and the paging is working fine.

Thanks . . .
