Page numbering

Hello
does anyone know how to force the page number style? I'm working on a
existing document: in this document (eg) if I add a disconnect page
after page 53, the new page will be 53.A (then 53.b, etc...)
Now, since I need to re-build all the document, how could I remove
this setting?

Select the frame that is disconnected, then select the preceding text frame. You don't need to have the two frames selected at the same time.

Then, choose format>customize layout>connect text frames.

That will connect the disconnected page.
