I'm using access97. In my report the page number doesn't display on the first page but every page there after. Any ideas on how to get the first page to display page number as well? Here's the code that I am using to display page numbers:
="Page " & [Page] & " of " & [Pages]

Hope this is enough info...
Thanx

In what section of the report is this code? Page Numbers are normally placed in the page footer, but they don't need to be.

All you need to remember is this:

1) Report header appears just ONCE, at the top of the first physical page.

2) the Page header appears at the top of every physical page, except the FIRST page, where it will appear BELOW the Report Header, if there is one.

3) The Page FOOTER appears at the bottom of every physical page.

4) The REPORT footer appears at the 'end' of the LOGICAL report, e.g. after the last detail section lines are printed. This may or may not be anywhere near the actual 'bottom' of the last page.

I can think of no reason why your code would not print on the first page, unless it is somehow in a section that is not printing there - and the only way to do that is some fancy footwork with a DETAIL section that does a "Page Advance" BEFORE it prints...

Check your report template and get back to us..

Jim - thanx for your reply. I set the report property page footer to all pages and it works great now..
