Hi, can someone please tell me how to alter the page numbers in the footer so that the 1st page has NO number shown, the second and third are in Roman Numerals (I, II, III), and that pages from then onwards are in the regular Page X of Y format - starting at Page 1 of Y.

If anyone is able to help with this it will same me great deals of work, I have to convert it to a PDF and do not know of a way to combine several individual documents to make one PDF with different footers.

Thnx,
Charlie

You need to add section breaks (Insert > Break). You can then add page numbers to each section break independently of any other, just make sure you click on the 'start at' bit of the page number dialog box.

I hope that helps
