Page Intercom from Voicemail Pro

Hello,

My boss would like to be able to remotely page all phones when he calls the office and no one answers. We use voicemail pro and have an auto attendant set up.

Is there a way to add a hidden option in the auto attendant to execute a dial intercom command on all the phones?

there is if you don't mention it in the greeting and don't make it obvious like # or *, put in something like 988 or anything you like and if that matches send it to the shortcode for paging and you are done. If you want to get really fancy then password protect that option in addition to not mentioning it in the greeting.

Transfer to a short code that uses "Dial Paging" or maybe it's "Group Page" I always get the SC an the button's mixed up. A person hearing the page can speak back by hitting the "Conference" button on the phone.

We do not use overhead paging. We page the intercom on the phones by using dial intercom feature. Is there a way to do this? When creating a short code, I do not see the option to dial intercom.

Dial intercom can only be activated through the button. SC are not supported for this feature.

I thought you said you wanted to intercom "all phones". This would be a page not an intercom. Page does not require overhead speakers although overhead speakers can be part of a a page.

How do you create a transfer to a shortcode?

Assume my dial paging shortcode is *6000 i want to hit 998 and it to trigger that shortcode. How do you do that?

I do not believe that Paging from the AA in VMPro will work. You can use the post dial option though.

point the 998 off of the menu to a assisted transfer action in voicemail and put *6000 as the mailbox number.

No, I didn't say that. People confuse page and intercom. I am going on what I call page and then transfer to a target. This can be done.
