page formatting question

I am using 6.5, had to custom format for a tri-fold publication, 11" x 25.5" (that is 3 letter size pages side by side, double-sided). Divide the page into 3rds, the inside is one complete image and the right side folds in and the left side folds over the right so that when folded the doc is 8.5" x 11". The other side will contain the cover image, the back of the folded doc and an inside page.. i hope my description is clear....

The only way to print that I can figure out is to reduce to fit, but the powers that be want a full size print... I could do 3 letter pages and tape them together except that the image for the inside of the doc is a single image - 11" x 25.5" ... does anyone know of a way to slice a large doc such as mine so that I can print it in sections?

Unless you are in a really small town, you should be able to find someone with a 11 x 17 printer to help you out. Just load the specs for their printer on your computer, use that printer-set up and print to file and then copy to a diskette and take that file to a service bureau--such as kinkos, etc and let them print it for you. Cost is not prohibitive--less than $5.

11 x 17 is no problem... my sixe is 11 x 25.5.. 3 8.5x11 side by side for a 3-page spread trifold... sir speedy's offset is fine for printing the finished product, but I need full sized pre-press copies to get approval.. i usually do single pages and tape them together after I print, but this project has one full sized image as the background on all 3 pages
