I have a report with two groups; group B is a group within group A. I would like the report to break after each group B but I would like the page numbers to reflect the page number and total number of pages for group A. For example, there are two items for group B. I would like the report to break after each group B but I would like the page numbers to read '1 of 2' and '2 of 2' If there is more than one item for group A, I would like a page break after each group A item and the page numbers to reset.

On the inner group, format it for "new page after" and on the outer group, format it for "Reset Page Number after".

You can get there by using the section expert or by right clicking on the group in the design window and checking the proper checkboxes.

If you also want to conditionally format these groups so this behavior does not happen at the very end of the report, click on the "X-2" button and enter the statement "Not OnLastRecord".

Let me know if you have any questions.
