Page Break If Record is not completely fit on that Page

Dear Fellow Programmers,
I have record of larger height (with many rows) ,now I want if Record changes and it is

not fully fit on the current page then i want page break so the reocrd appear as whole in next page.

Just select "keep together" on either the field in the field format, on the section in the section expert or on the whole group in the change group....whichever makes the most sense.

This might be a simple question, but is there a way to inset a page break so that each item in a group starts at the top of a new page?

I tried the "keep together" option mentioned above for the group, but then most of the time one item is printed on one page, but sometimes two items are. I think for my report I'd rather have consistency than try to save space.

This report will never be printed anyways, and I'm not a "screen-hugger".

Keep Together is not designed to do page breaks.
To do page breaks go to the section expert (Format Section) and use the "New Page Before" on that group header. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting

If I do "New Page Before" for the group header, then my first page is blank. The Page header a and b do not get printed on page 1 for some reason. Is there any reasoning behind this? Thanks,

Go into the formula for New Page Before (click the X-2) and place the following:

pagenumber <> 1
