Hello,

Any idea about to put image background for a report?
I Use one main report and many subreports.
But I want to put an image background for every page (while printing).
Thank you,

Marani

Insert a new page header section below the existing one.

Move it above the existing one.

Insert the image in it and set the format option for the section to "Underlay following sections"

Dear Marani,

To have the image display on every page of the report, do the following.

Place the image (Insert/Picture) into the Report Header. Select the graphic, right click/move/back which will place the image behind all other report objects.

Now do the same thing with the same image into the Page Header.

Select Format/Section and for both sections choose Underlay following sections.

This works.

You need to make sure that your image is "pale" enough for the text to show up against it. Other than that this works fine. It does significantly increase the size of the report file.

Hope this helps,

Thanks, that works.
But.... the Report header of the main report is hidden!?

Dear Marani,

Insert a report Header (b) underneath the hidden report header and place the image there. Follow all previous directions.

I would have thought using the report header would have created the watermark only for the first page.

If you need a watermark on page 2 and beyond, use Ido's suggestion and place the image in a Page Header, and use Underlay on that section. Editor and Publisher of Crystal Clear
