I don't agree with your answer completely.
According to my knowledge the Packet generator is always disabled in Distributed Sniffer, and the packet generator only works in Sniffer Pro.
Distributed Sniffer does not support the packet generator.
For what I know is the Packet Generator disabled since DSPro version 4.0 or higher.
