hello,

is there anybody knows the shutdown procedures for MD110 (BC9). Our premises always have monthly power shutdowns.
Everytime when electrical power resumes back, at least one of power cards will be corrupted/faulty.

The PU4-DC cards manufactured in 1994/95/96, have a problem.
Ericssson made a Recall to replace this cards.
Contact your supplier.

thankss... but how about the procedure to shutdown and switch on PABX for temporary purpose eg. due to power shutdown...

After all backups have been completed:

1. Turn off HDU
2. Turn off PU4DC/PU5DC (small blue switch on front of card) in every magazine.
3. Turn off recitifiers.
4. Turn off Batteries.

Just do the reverse to bring it back up again.

Hi, It's better to switch off batteries before mains power - on power down - and switch on mains before batteries on power up.
Cheers

Do i need to switch off ringer card also ( if the LIM has one ringer card.)

It is good practice to turn off the ringer card also, but you don't have to.
