I need some help.

I've got a 6.1.5 CUCM and a VG224 gateway. I have one analog line set as a PA number.
Basically a analog line that connects and activates a Bogen TAM-B. That connects to a amp. etc.

I have an issue where someone calls into the line and hangs up. It then broadcasts over the PA a dialtone and busy signal. (times out ofter 15 seconds)

I need help on the gateway figuring out what number is calling that line. RTMT isnt helping either. I added the same number on my 7962 and the call is terminated before the phone can get and display the number.

Any ideas on how to get this info? Can a number be password protected before its allowed to ring through? Any thoughts or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks
Tom

call detail records will show you who dialed that number. Run a report on the page code.

I need a bit more help....

When I go into CDR, you are recommended a page code...

If I go into cdr -> search -> by user extension it goesnt give me anything.

Right area?? Not the right area???

do you get an error then or does it say no records found? Are you searching back far enough to cover the time it happened?

Consider changing the number to a non DID number and make the number unlike any other number in your system so no one can transpose digits and hit it by accident.ie ##1234.

That way you will cut down on accidental hits.

My paging device DN is set on an internal CSS that can't be reached from the outside world.
