I would like to know if there is a way to play a wav file on the PA system. to make a page on the PA we usually dial a code like 701.

Do you have paging module? If yes, se if it has BGM port. If not, get BOGEN TAM B and plug your source of music to BGM port via RCA cable, set the volume and dip switches to cut the music when paging and be golden. We have this for our office/warehouse and it is great.

you can make the phone system play a wav file over the paging system. i use it to announce after hours calls instead of installing bells. it can be an announcement or a recorded phone rining sound. it will not play via the paging port on the phone system constantly though as it uses the paging port. i also use it sometimes to do a unique ring over paging when a call is transferred to an ext when the person is not usually at their desk.
