Hi all,

I've inherited a pair of Lucent P550 Cajun switches. I have sup card in slot 1, and 24x 10/100 port blades in all of the other slots.

My problem is that I'm only able to forward traffic from with the first two port cards (slots 2 and 3). All ports are correctly configured to be in same vlan, I can see linkstate changes and manage ports in slots 4+ but they never forward to each other or to ports in first 2 port blades. Yes, they *are* properly configured in the correct vlan.

I'm currently running version 4.3.7.

When I start up, I get the following errors:

<errormsg>
Log entry 28 by event 2 at 02-Dec-16 00:45:05 : Error(80)
Description: HW Error -- FILE: loopbk.cpp LINE: 899 Value 0x199 : ERROR: Corrupt
ed frame.

Log entry 128 by event 2 at 02-Dec-16 03:00:56 : Error(80)
Description: Undefined Error -- FILE: agntutil.c LINE: 210 Value 0x3e : Cannot a
llocate packet
</errormsg>

I don't get this error if I just use blades 1-3. I do get the same error in the 2nd switch as well, and after testing, the error messages do not seem to follow any particular blade.

Any ideas? It's driving me crazy. Please help me convince myself that I'm just stupid/uninformed and not crazy!

Thanks!

Hello
The msg show that frame received do not match frame send.
If you are able to run diag. you will see other msg.
If you are not familiar with diag. look to indicators at boot period. Some ports should have delay. If "yes" the card is bad.
Sometimes help reset all adapters....
