P520 firmware update

hi there, i have model P520 and trying to update the system firmware. It won't allow me to update and stated the ff:" This partition does not have authority to update the system firmware".

I don't have an HMC and i checked the update policy it is set to Operating System.

Looks like this server was connected before by HMC.

How are you managing the p520 at the moment?
I've always done firmware from the HMC, or using the Service Partition.
