I have an old IP Office 406 v2 with R3.0 software that the customer forgot the password to. So, I figured that I would simply default the box and start over. However, upon reboot nothing happens. The TFTP log repeatedly states "BOOTP request .. unable to process" and then "Unable to send C:\(path)\p12.bin"

Now, I've searched high and low but cannot find this file anywhere. A little help? Please? ;)

Well, it really makes no never-mind. As intrigrant said, it's little more than "a step-up" now. Nary a response. AT-X simply generates an "OK" response as if the system is playing Jack Nicholson's role at the very end of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" ... lobotomized. I anticipated this and found another 406v2 on eBay yesterday for $99. Still have the keys, the dongle, and the internal cards. I should survive.

Once again, I want to thank the community for coming together on Christmas to assist. The wife and I went to a friend's house so I was basically just dilly-dallying around until it was time for me to get ready ... but I REALLY appreciate the outpouring of support that I received on Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas to you and your family as well.

If you keep doing CPR on the 406 it will come back. make sure you get the bootp entry in there pointing to the right file then it should get back to life
