Owa works but mapi doesn't

No. It is a strange deal. When I start the server all the service start properly no error but nobody can use mapi.
Then I restart the system attendant and it works.
I know that when the services start they dynamically allocate ports to the information store, and mine is not allocating a port upon boot but when manually re-started it gets the port assigned.
Still don't know why though.

I had :-
"Your logon information was incorrect...."
and tried the following fix
which did not work. Anyone else tried this fix and not had any luck?
