OWA-Windows prompting for logon credentials repeatedly

Hi all,
I realize this has been brought up in other posts, but still can't "fix" it, (I have a workaround). I have one AD and One Exchange 2003 box. The problem is ONLY on the internal network. When logging on to OWA, when I type://username@domainname/exchange I get the logon window.
When I enter the credentials it starts to open OWA in the background, but then prompts repeatedly for credentials and then Error: Access is Denied. The only way to work around this is to type the IP address/exchange. I really would like to know what my problem is... We do not have forms based authentication installed or certificates, nothing special.
Thanks in advance for any tips!

What about the IIS site configuration for the OWA section? You should take off windows integrated and just leave it at basic authenticication.

Thanks vic, I will check that...
The problem about changing IIS though is that OWA worked before and now it does not, but only on certain machines. I am leaning towards DNS or an Active Directory problem. I can only guess that it started happening when applied SP1 to two Win server 03 domain controllers. The 2003 ES has not been updated yet with either Windows SP1 or exchange SP's... any other clues?

IIS is not caching credentials correctly. Essentially, when you bring up OWA, you are bringing up a main webpage which gets populated with objects from other directories and processes. If the browser doesn't keep your login cached and available, you will keep getting prompted.

If you use a different browser (i.e. Firefox), do you get the same errors?

Also, try NOT using Integrated security for the login, only Basic (set this in IIS). Integrated can have a bad habit of trying to pull your login information from the OS, if it's a MS operating system. Realise that using Basic will send your login info "in the clear", but you should be using SSL with OWA anyways. ;)
