Greetings everyon,

This should be easy for someone. A user of mine cannot acccess his Outlook Web Access from his home system. He is using an updated I.E. and windows XP. He gets the errror "Page cannot be displayed" However, if the goes to another system running 2000 with I.E. he can access just fine.
Our server is running Server 2000 Server with Exchange 2000. What could he check for on his system?

Thanks in advance for any hints or tips,

Victor

He should compare the Internet settings with the one that is working for starters.

I have the same issue. It only displays 'Page can not be displayed' on certain messages. I tried different settings on IE without any luck. Anyone out there who knows what's causing this??

Found it out :)

The user was accessing with and XP machine. The prompt would have a space to imput a user name and password but not a "domain" box. Normally this should not have been a problem becuase I have the default domain set on server but for some reason it was. So putting in like so:

User Name: Domain\User

Fixed the problem.

Hope this works for you,

seong76 - Have you run the Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA)? If so, rerun it and have it remove the security restrictions and try to view the messages again. This fixed it at one client site of ours.

Whoops - correction - its the URLSCAN tool that causes the problem. I need some caffeine....
