I have WIN2000 and Exchange2000.
I'm strageling with accesing my outlook from the web,but I think the problem might be somewhere else! Maybe policies or IIS??? I can access with my Administrator account but not others...

I don't know if you can help me... But I would be very happy...

Can you access OWA from your LAN?

Have you got the log on locally group set up and yourself in it?

It is usually that the log on locally right is not granted for your account on the server.

I had exactly the same problem, but I can't rember how I solved it... I would first check or you OWA-files on the IIS have the right permissions. In exchange you can define (per user or in general) the allowed protocols, maybe it has something to do with that. If you can give me the speciffic error you get with the other users I could help you searching.

I had this problem with Exchange 5.5 so I don't know how relevent this solution may be!

In the advanced tab for a particular recipient make sure the IIS machine name is in the box labelled "Outlook Web Access Server Name" and the Directory name is something sensible - usually the users initials.

When you go to log on to OWA put in the Directory name setup above and then log on using the usaul network username/password combination.

Hope this helps.

Good afternoon,

I am in the process of Installing Exchange 5.5 OWA onto a Windows 2000 Server, but I am experiencing problems.

I receive a NT file error message, I assume that I need to apply a patch before I proceed, but can't locate any relevant documentation.

Our exchange 5.5 server is on a separate NT 6A machine.

Your information is appreciated.

Regards,

I have been experiencing difficulties when trying to install Outlook Web Access (for exchange 5.5) onto a Windows 2000 server.

I receive an error message, re missing NT files, I checked on Technet and the message relates to a 2K service pack issue. I assume that all I will have to run is a patch, but am not too sure.

Can you please help or point me in the correct direction.

Regards,
