I have a problem with OWA. I can log in and receive mail but I can not send. So i know POP is working but the SMTP is not. Does anyone know what is going on? Also, in IIS
When I expand the website in IIS i have two red "stop sign" looking errors. One is for public and points to the M:\ the other is Exadmin. both say something like the path is invalid. But when I check the path everything seems okay.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

BM

This is a common problem. Re-browse the paths and select OK. The red stop signs should go away.

To fix this permanently you need to make the following reg edits:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\w3svc

Double-click DependOnService

Delete IISAdmin and type MSExchangeIS instead
Click OK
Close regedit

For smtp check the virtual smtp server is running and imap4
