I am currently running Exchange 2000 Enterprise. My owa is loaded on my exchange server along with IIS. IIS' only function on the exchange server is OWA. Right now I need to type the following URL to access my webmail.....owa.mydomain.com/exchange. How do I make the exchange website the default so all i need to enter is owa.mydomain.com?

THanks a lot

Deklin,

Perform these steps.

1. In IIS Manager, right click "Default Web Site" & click "Properties".
2. Click "Home Directory" tab.
3. At the top, click "A redirection to a URL".
4. Enter "/exchange" (no quotes) in the "Reditect to:" text box.
5. Click the "A directory below URL entered" check box.
6. Click OK, then restart the (probably not necessary, but just to be safe).

Thanks shawn...it worked.

Right now my owa is setup that when a user types in owa.mydomain.com a login dialogue box apprears. I know there is a way i can setup a web page where a user can enter their user id and password. It's also my understanding that this web page can be customized. any recommendations on setting this up?
