Hi,

We are trying to set up OWA and cannot get it to work. It seems to be working for some accounts/users under and not for others.

It is possible to log in as an administrator and I also have no problem logging in from home on a win 98 machine. (I only get one log in screen). However, some of the users cannot log onto their mailboxes unless they enter they username and password for each element of the outlook interface. Others cannot connect to the site at all.

I am fairly new to exchange and would appreciate some direction as to where to look.

Thanks

You need to check the users who can log on locally to the server.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I am using Exchange 2000 and was under the impression that the log on locally issue only applied to Exchange 5.5. Am I correct?

Also, this is the event that appears in the event log.

Does anybody have further ideas as to the source of the problem?

Is the HTTP protocol enabled for the mailboxes with problems ie. the ones that can not connect
Look under User Properties/ Exchange Advanced/Protocol settings.
