Hi all.

I am in the process of upgrading to Exchange 2003 from Exchange 2000. I
have setup my OWA 2003 servers. I have the password option enabled. I have
one backend server that is exchange 2003 and the rest are still exchange
2000.

My problem is that when I try the password change option for a mailbox that
is on a exchange 2000 server I get a 404 error, page not found. It works
fine for mailboxes on the Exchange 2003 server.

When my OWA server was Exchagne 2000 the password option worked perfectly.
Why doesn't it work for Exchange 2003 OWA and how the heck do I fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Kevin

dcmetro1,

The .htr files are what is created when you do the copy command. There are a handful of files in the iisadmpwd directory. After issuing the copy command you should have double the files you originally had. Each file will have a .asp and a .htr versionafter the copy command.

For the next part, when you go into into IIS manager and create the mapping you actually type in .htr and map it to asp.dll in c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\asp.dll. This is done under the IISADMPWD virtual directory properties. If you don't have this virtual directory, then you need too create it. If this is the case then let me know and I will do another post or if I am not clear on any of this please let me know.

Does this help, if not let me know.
