OVL429 1

We had a lighting strike this weekend and had to replace some network cards and controller cards on an OPT 81 and now when I do a stat on one of the loops we had to swap card on I get an OVL429 error, can anybody tell me what is causing this?

OVL429 - Overlay memory space in use.

This normally occurs when someone else is logged in to the switch with the same or a connected LD open.
When you log into the switch, it should tell you if anyone else is logged in.
Alternatively, type "who" at the > prompt to see who else is logged in.

Ok but I am the only one logged in so I did >who and came up with Sprt Monitor any idea what that is?

Do you have a modem setup for Sprint? Looks like htey may be monitoring the system.

Do have Multi user on, Sprint has no access to our switch.The only modem to switch is the one I am logged into .

the name on that tty may be sprint, if they were the provider at one time..
if your the only person dialed in, you can't forc yourself off.. and unless your logged in, you can;t force anyone off
