Hi,

I had a problem under LD 117 doing a ucm registration.
The MGC card tried a few times and failed, I eventually figured out what went wrong.

But now the system "locked" out my admin2 user.

I can rlogin to the system, then I enter cslogin or csconsole and get my CS prompt.

When I do a logi admin2 and password I get (OVL428)

How do I reset this password from UCM?
Or anywhere else for that matter.

lcko is usually 30 min default or 60, so I don't know beyond that, other than ini

(OVL428) is not lockout - ovl400 is. ovl428 is wrong login/pwd combination.

you'll have to login into ucm as nortel and access your security domain and reset your pwd.

I would not be asking the question if I did not try to do it, I can't find the reset feature for CS1000_Admin2 in the UCM, only for admin and nortel user, not for admin2 ...

My question is ... where in UCM do you reset the CS users passwords for admin2

You can only use the "old" ADMIN1 / ADMIN2 logins etc if the IP link is disconnected, otherwise it's the UCM logins. This still applies if you are on a serial port!.
