How do I set this, please? Have tried all morning, and can only get ArcServe to register "append to media", which is just what I don't want. I want to format, then write to tape every night. thanks!

Shouldn' this work with the "Global Scratch Set"-Option in Rotation Jobs as well?

NO, it's as above.

Rotation and GFS jobs are already configured on how to handle tapes as part of the job.
