Our media set has infinite overwrite protection is there a way we can change this or do we have to create a new media set. When I go into properties i can change the append properties but not the overwrite protection.

Also when I went to make a new media set i could change the append protection but the overwrite protection defaults to NONE and is grayed out so I can't change it.

Thanks FD

Go into Tools, options, Media - change the media protection to partial - it is probably set to full.

Then setup a new media set with the values you need.
