We have need to provide overhead paging for a specific area.
We just want to keep it simple and thought we could just use a sing line port and page that way. We have a CCM 3.3(3) and we have newly built conference room that has 10 overhead speakers. we have a bogen amp.

We just want to keep it simple, does anyone have any advice in how to implement this? Any help is greatly appreciated.. Thank you.

You may be able to just use a Bolgen TamB and a FXS port to achieve what you need. I normally use a TamB and an ATA186 to acheive it. The users will just call a directory number, hear a beep, then start talking.

We've used 7905's with auto answer enabled on the DN.
Use the handset port for your voice leads to the paging horn or speakers. You could also use other phones if you have a spare. I am not sure how it would work with your amp. We've tried one of the analog Bogen Tam's but you are only allowed so much time to speak before it disconnects. I believe 30 to 45 seconds, which might not be an issue for you.
