outside line rollover ?

Does anyone know if a CICS has the ability to roll outside lines like you pay the phone company to do ? I would like to have the system do it and elimate the 50.00 a month a line that AT&T is charging . Thanks.

Once a line is busy, it's busy. Unless the provider is CFB the line, you won't get any calls on other lines. Having said that, are you sure you are paying $50. for just rollover (CFB)? Per line? Around here (PEI, Canada) I'm sure it is free.

IDK if the phone co. has that blocked but just wanted to know if the system has the capability to roll outside calls if line 1 is busy to line 2 and so on. Then I will have customer drop phone co. service. And yes the customer said that they are charging her that in addition to price per business line .

The system can not make lines roll or hunt the CO is in control of that.

All controlled by the carrier.
That is robbery or a major accounting mistake.....look at the bill yourself perhaps.
In Canada I think its around $40-50 per line including rollover.

In California the hunting feature costs $0.47 per line per month from Pacific Bell/AT&T and $1.42 per line per month from GT/Verizon. The Call Forward Busy feature costs $7.75 per line per month from Pacific Bell. Also CFB is NOT the same as hunting. They are two totally different features, although they may provide similar functions.

Unless you have a lot of lines, you have some sort of billing error!

I will have the customer look at that AT&T invoice again. It does seem strange ??? Also in finding out most phone systems with copper feeding can't create roll-over. But I want to thank you all for your valuable help. It is nice to know there are still many good people out there !!!! even in Canada !!! just joking !!! Thanks again !!!
