Anyone know why a report with a graph that is exported to pdf using the following code does not export the graph. It comes up blank.

Code:
DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputReport, "rpt4CasesOnHold", acFormatPDF, "C:\rpt4CasesOnHold.pdf", True

Not sure as to the why, but have you tried printing the report to PDF as a different option? Perhaps the print driver will handle it differently?

Hi,

first install a driver to create PDF's
it's called w2PDF_setup.exe and can be found here :

when installed, this will create a new printer in your list of printers

if you want to print to PDF from any file, set this PDF printer as your default and then just click Print or select the printer in your printer dialog screen

you can also do all this things in VBA to automate it in any tool.

I'd be a little suspicious someone recommending a pdf printer from a mediafire link which is a file sharing site - sure, lots of legitimate sharing, but lots of illigitimate as well. And it's an easy way to stick viruses and malware into files.

Best way (assuming you want to try the PDF printer router, as you never answered your post), is to download one from a site such as one of these sites:

And for free if you're a home user: - VERY useful site and utility.

Also, here's an old article listing 7 different free PDF printers you can look at:

Personally, I've used at least pdf995 and cutepdf - both work well. I've also used Adobe's Acrobat PDF printer, but it isn't free - unless they have it free with the latest Adobe Reader app.. I've not taken the time to notice.
