Outool Restore problems

In mid July 2004, noticed Outlook PST was about 475 MB, with info (In/Send emails) dating back to June 2003. Thought I properly archived around 7/15/04, and the In/Send emails were showing from April 2004 forward.
Went to restore yesterday, and cannot find the info from prior to April 2004.
Have also noticed my current PST file is still about 475 MB. The only archive file is about 17 MB.
Is there anything I can do to get my info from June 2003 up to April 2004?

Have you looked for *.pst files?

If you find any, besides the one that's in use, which should be outlook.pst and have a recent date, then File-Open from Outlook and see what's in them.

Generally, it should be archive.pst...

There is only 1 other pst file - an "archive.pst" that is only 17 MB.
What has me confused is why my outlook.pst file is still about the same size(475 MB) as when I thought I archived. It just seems that the info (in/send files) that I'm desperately looking for - are still there, simply not showing. I just don't see how a I went a year (June 2003 - July 2003) and had a outlook.pst file of 465MB before supposedly archiving, and now still have an outoook.pst file of 475 MB.
Is this possible or is there a way to see what makes up the 475 MB?

Right-click your outlook today and check properties.
