Hi Guys,
I have one user (NT Workstation/Office 97) who has opened another users calendar (2000 Pro/Office 97) and tried to print it.
They receive the following error message:

Unable to save the print settings. Make sure the file c:\documents and settings\SmithJ\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\OutlPrnt exists and can be written to.

This is particularly strange because they are on Windows NT and therefore don't have a "Documents and Settings" folder. They do have the equivalent file in the "Profile" folder under c:\winnt.

Thanks very much.

HI MrTBC

I have a user who just received that same message did you find an answer for it?

Kind of...I'm just casting my mind back.

The issue was that the user had been migrated from 2000 Pro back to NT Workstation, but their Registry entry was still referring to 'c:\documents and settings'.

I modified this to refer to the "Profile" folder under c:\winnt instead and that resolved the first message.

There was then a second error message, which I can talk you through if you get that as well!

Thought I should add.

Had this problem with an XP user.

Turned out the permissions for the 'application data' folder and subfolders had somehow disappeared.

Took ownership of the folder and re-added the user and relevant permissions.

User could print again.

Finally, had her take ownership of the folder + subfolders once more.
