How can i ensure Outlook sends an autoreply more than once to the same sender?

i have a rule set up that moves incoming mail into a separate folder and fires off a template response...works fine..but only once to each sender...any clues folks?

even when using the Out of Office Assistant?

not using Out of Office Assistant as i'm in office, and it does def reply only once to each sender. my rule is to move any mail i'm cc'd in to a different folder and fire off a response that tells the sender to resend as a direct addressee if they want a response from me. as i say, this works fine the first time someone cc's me, but if they do it again the rule works but they dont get a second response...until Outlook is restarted anyway.

i think this could either be outlook default behaviour as to not send autoresponder messages everytime, or some sort of software bug maybe?

It isn't a bug, it is a feature, as they say.

If you send an email to Fred, then switch on your OOF and go on holiday, when Fred gets your mail and he already is on holiday with OOF switched on too, you would get locked into an infinite loop.
