Outlook2003 can't paste image from anything except Word??

I can't copy and paste an image from ACDSee, SnagIt , IE... into an emails body. I get a broken link icon. Oddly, if I paste the image into Word first, then copy it again in to the clipboard it will them paste into the emails body???

Anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this?

Good information on what apps you can't paste from but no indication on what mail client won't accept them. Also, i would look at your clipboard to insure that the image is there & available for pasting.

What is your email client and what environment are you operating in? Like standalone or simple network or domain based network.

Please post back with some details.

Outlook 2003 is the email client that won't accept the pasted image. Or more accurately it pastes then shows the image as a broken link. Again, a work around is to paste it into Word first then copy and paste it into Outlook.
