How do I import all my mail account settings from my old hard drive to my new one.

I have upgraded my harddrive and was going from Outlook2000 to Outlook2002. I have the *.pst file on the new hard drive, and have managed to import all the messages and contacts, but it did not import the mail account settings. How do I import all the mail account settings?

I would appreciate any input? (PS - I have tried import mail and account settings, but received an error message that 'no internet accounts were found to import)

Thanks.

As far as I am aware, you have to type them all in manually. I had this problem when I had to re-format my hard drive but made a note of them before.

There may well be a way, but I couldn't find one (Please post on this thread if you get an answer)

What about the address book? How do you import that. Surely, you can't be required to re-enter all those emails. The contacts, emails, and appointments were imported, but the address book with the emails did not import. I realized this when I went to send an email and the computer did not automatically recognize the email addresses.

Your contact list should of been imported with the PST file when you copied it over. What you might have todo is goto Tools > Email Accounts > View or Change existing directories or address book > select the outlook address book then click change, if there is 2 Contacts: Personal Folders in the list then delete the top one. This should make your contact list work properly.
