I manage a 50 user windows 2003 terminal server. This issue is only happening to a few users on this box, they are using Outlook xp 2002. This is only happening to TS users. Users not on the TS do not have this problem. We recently switched Host providers from Network Solutions to InMotionHosting because they had a lot more to offer. However after we made the switch and I changed the config for all email clients, our clients started to complain that our emails started to come over looking really funny. Nothing else in outlook changed and I compared the settings to working outlook. It can't be the client’s side because we have many clients complaining about this. What is happening is the Headers are being displayed in the body of the message. This is very bad because we are a collection agency and for a body of an email to display every users email address, well you can see how this would be bad. I have complained many times to our Host and they say it's not them and nothing is wrong on their end. Which seems crazy because before the switch this never happened. If I use our ISP’s smtp this doesn't happen. So how the hell can they say that? It drives me crazy, especially when a snotty IT support person who thinks they know everything tells me there is something wrong on my end and absolutely nothing is wrong on theirs. Then try their hardest to end the conversation with "Is there anything else I can help you with" GRRR!!! Even if it's not their problem, me being a client they should help me figure out the problem even if it doesn't have anything to do with them. I'm sure we have all been there or sadly some of us can admit doing it. Now that I know how irritating it can be I myself will try to never do that as an IT professional.
Below is an example of how the emails look.
Any help would be great because I sure as hell am not getting any from our provider. They are great for everything else and have a lot of options. I would hate to have to switch over 150 users again just because of this issue.
